This weekend marked my first trip out to Auntie Ida’s and Uncle Al’s far-home – they call it their ‘acherage’, though I’m not exactly sure why. Boy, were they ever nervous – at least when I first got there. I suppose I do have a habit of piddling when I’m excited, but I was smart: I took Jay for a walk before we even got there, and before I went in the house. You see, A & I? It’s all good.

Anyway, here I am, just having a look around the basement while those guys all played cards. They sure do make a lot of noise – cackle like a bunch of old hens!

But I guess that’s one of the reasons I love ’em.
