You’ll never guess where I am. I’m in a little place about three hours (I think) from home, called Radium. It’s in British Columbia. I’m here with Jay and Em, and Jay’s big car, and Em’s big car, for a car show – a show and shine – in one of the most perfect settings for a car show that you could ever want to see.

Apparently, before I arrived and before Em’s health issues Jay and Em used to make this trip every year. They’d run it just like today – come down on the Friday and stay ’til the Sunday to make a weekend of it. We’re staying in a nice place called a ‘hotel’ – they’re very nice here, very pet-friendly and I love it here already.

It was a little disconcerting when I realized that they’d brought my kennel along – I hadn’t expected to see that here. But I’m more comfortable with it all now and I’m guessing I’ll be sleeping in there tonight like I always do. My food’s there, too, so I’m happy about that. I’ve had a few nibbles already, but I expect I’ll polish it all off when the guys go out for supper.

This is my first trip anywhere overnight! I’m pretty excited, and I’ve already met some nice folks who stopped to say hello.

I think I’m going to have a really nice weekend.
